Greg kept Jack in sight as he carefully followed the deranged scientist down the hall. He knew that he had to find a way to prevent Jack from killing anyone else, while also assuring that he finished his mission and led them to where Jill was trapped. Greg didn’t know if Jill was alive and he frankly didn’t care. She was not part of his mission, at least not yet. When and if she became part of the mission – then she would become a priority, but for now he had to put her from his mind and focus on the task at hand. And that task was Jack, who was now quickly heading down the hall.

Following his adversary, Greg quickly pulled up a rough map of the base on his phone. The one thing he always hated was not knowing where he was going. Greg liked to be prepared and he hoped that this map would aid him in this.

Looking at the hologram that hovered before him, Greg saw that Jack was heading straight for the food court. He didn’t know why Jack was headed this way, when the transporting device was located a few floors above them…unless of course Jack somehow felt he was being followed and hoped to loose his tail somewhere in the crowd of people. Greg knew that he didn’t have time to get the court cleared, however perhaps there was another means of getting Jack back on track without harming anyone. Within that split second, Greg knew what he was going to do…now it was getting the General to go along with his hair brain scheme…
