Jack walked quietly down the street closely observing each of the houses as he walked by. They appeared to be all the same and yet there was something off. Picking up a perfectly round stone from the ground, Jack began tossing it in the air and letting it fall back into his hands. Reaching the end of the street, Jack observed that the next street was exactly the same as the first. Turning around, he began walking back up the street. This time, he dropped the rock from his hand and let it hit his foot, then elbow and knee. He went up the street, then down the street, going wherever the stone led him, taking care to not let it hit the ground.

Observing all of this from a distance, Greg called out, “I never knew you knew how to play hacky-sack.”

“One of the few talents I picked up in college,” Jack replied with a smile. “Now shut-up and watch the master at work.”

Taking the hint, Greg backed up even further as Jack danced his stone back to the beginning of the street. There he stood in front of the first house. Kicking the stone high in the air, Jack flipped on his hands, bringing his left foot up in time to hit the rock into the downstairs window of the first house on the left. The glass shattered as the rock hit the window, leaving a jagged hole in its place.

Greg was about to object to what Jack did, but decided against it, when Jack briefly glared at him. Less than a few seconds later, all the windows in the nearby houses shattered at the same time. Leaving the exact same hole as the first window. With a smile, jack began walking towards the first house.

“Why are we going here?” Greg asked as he followed Jack up the drive.

“Why, were going to get Jill.” Jack replied without turning around and from there I do believe its time for Jill and I to go home – so that I can clear my name.”

“And I’m going with you guys as well, right?”

“What?” Jack asked.

“I’m going back with you and Jill, right?” Greg replied.

“Of course,” Jack replied. “I wouldn’t want to leave my perfect hostage behind, Would I?”
