
Letting Moxie collect herself, Jill waited. It wasn’t long before Moxie was ready to answer Jills questions. But during that time, Jill had nearly forgotten what she was going to ask her. Instead, Jill said, “How’d you sleep last night?”
‘I slept okay,” Moxie replied. “Much better than you did, I suppose?”
“Oh, why’s that?”
“Look, there’s no need to beat around the bushes. I know that you were trying to figure out why my mother wouldn’t answer any of your questions, but instead sent you to me.”
“Yes, amongst other things.”
“Well, the reason why my mother wouldn’t answer any of your question is that she doesn’t have any of the answers you seek. Nor is she programed to answer them if you had desired.”
“What then is her purpose?
“Her purpose is to make sure, that I have everything I need.” Moxie replied. “She serves the role of Mother and Protector.”
“So that is why, she was in my room earlier this morning?”
“Yes, its part of her programing to make sure all the rooms are tidy. Besides she wanted to make sure that you were still in your bed.”
“Why? She doesn’t trust me?”
“If you were in our position,” Would you be so trusting?”
Jill thought for a moment, “No, I suppose not. In fact, you have treated me better than I would’ve treated you. Please forgive me for making such an accusation.”
Moxie inclined her head in acknowledgement. “Now that we have that cleared up, what else do you want to know? I promise to answer you the best that I can.”
“There is so much that I want to ask you,” Jill replied. “But I don’t know where to begin?”
“Why don’t you first tell me about what led you to create this world and how you came to get here. Perhaps that will help me to determine what questions you would like answered.”
“Okay,” Jill sighed. “This is going to take a while.”
“We have nothing but time in this world. Besides it might be fun.
“Okay, if you say so.” Jill replied. “Let’s get started.
