Gregory was furious. He had found the General hunched over in a pool of his own blood. He had also noticed that the Generals keycards were missing and that meant that Jack was going to the top and taking the quickest way possible. Checking the pistol that he had acquired from the stockpile left by the guards, Gregory made a beeline for the closest elevator. As he raced towards it, Greg caught a glimpse of Jack up ahead. It appeared that he was struggling with the elevator keypad. ‘This is my chance to get caught up and make him pay for what he did.’ Gregory thought to himself. Running as quick as he could, while still remaining silent, Greg closed the gap between him and Jack. That was when the elevator doors started to close. Squeezing the pistol trigger, the gun jumped in Greg’s hand, as the bullets zipped away- thudding loudly into the closing elevator doors. Greg was to late. He heard Jacks sneer from within elevator as he reached it and began pounding on the outside door with the butt of the pistol.
But the doors were shut and there was nothing Greg could do about it. He heard Jack mockingly encouraging him to give up…that there was nothing he could do about losing. This pissed Greg off. Looking around him, Greg noticed the panel on the side of the elevator. Mounted next to it was a fire extinguisher. Grabbing it off the wall, Greggory smashed the backend repeatedly into the control panel of the elevator – until it hung from its hinges. Flipping the extinguisher around, he then sprayed its contents on the now exposed wires. This caused the elevator to shake and sputter, before coming to a screeching halt.
