Jack quickly scanned the ceiling of the elevator, passing over the hatch three times in his haste. The fourth time, he forced himself to move slower. There faintly in the background, Jack eyes began to pick up the outline of the emergency panel. Jumping, Jack smacked his hand with it, then instantly pulled his hand away with a grimace. Shaking off the pain, he jumped again, this time finding the latch and giving it a hard tug. The panel pulled away with a pop and Jack swung himself up through the hole. Looking around him, Jack saw thick wires in the center and wheel like brakes on all four sides. Grabbing hold of the wires, Jack was about the climb up, when he noticed a ladder to his right. Smiling, he grabbed hold of the rungs and began to climb.

After having disabled the elevator, Greg expected to hear some kind of noise, like angry words or threats, but instead there was silence. The longer it grew, the more suspicious he became. What could Jack be doing in there? Suddenly there came a crash, Greg bolted for the elevator, in an attempt to see what was going on. However, his view was blocked. Not wanting to go back around and climb yet another set of stairs, Greg looked around for anything that would allow him to pry open the doors, but couldn’t find anything. Sighing out loud, Greg turned and headed towards the closest set of stairs. This was turning out to be harder than he expected.
