Jo-oh was strolling leisurely down the street, when he walked across a medium brown-haired dog. Worried that the dog would get hit, Jo-oh did his best to escort the dog out of the middle of the road. Butt the dog would not budge.
Grabbing the dog by the collar, Jo-Oh dragged the mutt out of the middle of the road, only letting him go once the dog was…
“Wait,” john- Ing interrupted. “I fail to see how any of this is funny. Sure, you character may be a good person, but having a good heart -does not make you a comedian.”
“I never said, my character was a comedian.” Jell-o replied. “I simply put this story out there as a possible comedy. Though of course, if you like, I could change to this to something more serious. Like I could have the dog get hit by a car or even Jo-oh, get hit by the car, while trying to save the dog. Now naturally, the person who hit them would be a young single woman, about the age of our character and naturally she’s a veterinarian…”
“Naturally,” John-ing replied. “And let me guess, she’s good looking and ready for some action?”
“Well, I guess she’s good looking for a carrot and as for action, I do believe she fights crime on the weekend with her best friend Choe- Celery.”
“Ah, what?”
“You are right, none of that would be funny. Besides, then the main character would be tempted to take the female home and have her and her roommate for dinner…”
“And what would he be having for dinner?”
“A stew, this was his plan all along,” Jell-o replied. “He was only lacking two ingredients.”
“And what ingredients were that?”
“Carrots and Celery.”
“So, then you’re writing a murder mystery?”
“Whatever gave you that impression.”
Never mind,” John-ing sighed. “Go back to telling your dog story.”
“Well anyway, this particular dog was actually the partner of Jo-Oh and his specialty was tracking Carrots and Celery…”
‘Let me guess,” John-ing replied. “The dog was also fond of stew?”
“How’d you know.”
“I took I wild guess, so is there anything more to this story?”
“No, that about sums it up,” Jell-o replied. “So, what do you think.”
“Well. It is not bad. If you change the dog to a rabbit, then you might even get an Easter story.”
“Yeah, you are right. That does sound like a good idea. I will get on it right away.
Good, and now I can go back to eating my stew. Oh, by the way what was the name of the dog?”
“What dog, I though I was going with a rabbit.”
“Yeah, you’re right. My mistake.”
“No problem, you enjoy your stew now.”
“Oh, I will. I will.”
The End.
