The photo shoot has just ended. I could barely stand up, due to the wight of my stomach. Exhaustion is coming more frequently now. The nurses have had to remind me consistently to continue with these entries, though I don’t know if I will be able to keep myself awake long enough to do so.

July 3rd, 1700.

I passed out yesterday and now I’m confined to the bed. I’ve been told that these entities are almost at an end. This is good. I don’t know how much more I can do any of this. Besides the comforting demeanor of the nurses, stressing that I should stay still, less I strain myself. They have been pretty tight lipped on what is actually happening. Though I’ve managed to catch snippets of the conversations. Apparently, I’m due to give birth in the next two days and I’m going to be moved later tonight to my new home. One of the nurses saw me trying to tune in and with a gentle smile she made her way over to me.

“Don’t worry dear, the other nurse will be along shortly with your shot to help ease your discomfort.”

“What’s going to happen to me,” I whispered.

“Why my dear, you’re going to be a mother to an entire nation. Now conserve your strength. You’re going to need all of it when you give birth.”

Do you think that I would make a good mother?”

“I’m sure that you would make an excellent mother,” the nurse coed, patting my hand. “But first you must make it through the pregnancy and that will require all your strength. So, rest now and know, that you have cemented your place in history….” Oh, and here comes the nurse with your shot. Down worry dear everything will be okay,”

Before I could ask what, she meant about cementing my name in history, the other nurse plunged the needle into my arm, and everything started to get blurry. It looks like I’m going to be sleeping now. If this is my last entry than it is, if it isn’t well then it isn’t- Princess Ribbet.
